Reminder: Announcement of the 2019 Pulitzer Prize Winners is April 15

Pulitzer Prize Administrator Dana Canedy will announce the 2019 class of winners at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism on Monday, April 15 at 3:00 p.m. EST.

As in previous years, the press conference will be livestreamed on the homepage of pulitzer.org. Winning and finalist work will be posted immediately following the announcement.

The 2026 Pulitzer Journalism competition (encompassing eligible work published in calendar year 2025) has opened. The deadline for entry is January 26, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific time.
