Each year, Pulitzer Prize jurors and board members review scores of entries in each of the 15 Journalism prize categories to determine which work will receive awards in the spring. For inspiration, look back at the reporting, writing, photography and multimedia projects that received the honor in May 2020.
Last May, the first prize in Audio Reporting was awarded, along with work from news organizations large and small across the United States. Watch the announcement of those winners in the video below:

This most recent calendar year has seen dogged reporting by journalists, and is sure to produce an equally inspiring class of prize winners. The Pulitzer Prizes currently are accepting entries for the 2021 Journalism competition.
