The 2024 Drama competition is now accepting submissions. (The Music portal will open in August.) All entry materials must be uploaded to the Books, Drama and Music entry site, where the required entry form and $75 handling fee must also be remitted.

Eligible works include full-length dramas by American authors that opened in the United States between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2023.

As in last year's competition, please note that COVID-related expanded eligibility criteria (encompassing plays that were scheduled to be produced in theaters but postponed or cancelled due to the pandemic) are no longer in place.

Full details on the eligibility rules for the 2024 Prize cycle are available on the Drama guidelines page.

The deadline for entries is December 31, 2023.

A list of all past Pulitzer Prize winners in Drama is available here.
